This is a very comfortable, sturdy chair made of 2x4s, that can be stained or painted. It is an easy to build design suitable for beginners. This chair is designed to fit standard 20" x 20" seat cushions, with optional back pillows. The arm rests are generous and comfortable, and yes, will hold your drink! It's heavy enough to not blow over in the wind, but light enough to easily move around. This is one of my favorite chair plans.

Recently we took a trip down to my parents house in Florida and one thing they have been missing on the back patio was a table big enough to seat our entire family. We needed enough seats for my family, my brothers family and my parents. Which brings us to 10 seats. I didn't have a bunch of time or the workshop to build a big fancy table so we opted to keep it simple.
